What does a tagged post look like on Instagram?

Previously we have covered how to tag a post on Instagram using a product from your Facebook catalogue. Click here if you missed it.

This post is about what the tagged post actually looks like to the Instagram user. Firstly you can see that there is a mini shopping bag on the post.

Once the user has clicked on the post, you can see there are two additions to the normal post. That mini shopping bag again, and a new label, which has the name of the product from the catalog and the price, plus a little arrow to suggest you click it

Clicking that label brings you to this next page, which has some more detail about the plant, which all comes from the Facebook catalogue, including a description which you have to click the tab to see. The most important thing on this page is the link to the website, where hopefully your visitor is going to make a purchase.

Before you can tag any products then you need to get your product catalogue to Facebook and set your Instagram account to Business version,
