My Xcart webshop does well but needs more traffic, how can I improve the SEO?

there isn’t a quick answer to this question but here are some DIY tips that will always improve the SEO on an Xcart website or any other for that matter

Make sure that if you read the name of the product in isolation, you would know what it is.
Include the product name in the short and full descriptions, the page title and the meta information
Make your product descriptions as complete as possible, Aim for the short description to be at least 160 characters, and the full to be at least 500.
Include at least two detailed images and make sure they are at least 1000 pixels on each side
Complete the meta information
