How Can I Help My Potential Customers? Make it Obvious!

How can I help my potential customers?

It’s a question that you should be asking yourself constantly. Firstly, it will help you hone your products or services; and secondly, it will help you optimise your website to ensure you are reaching the people you can and want to help!

Is it obvious on your website?

Is the answer to that question really obvious on your website? Within the first 30 seconds on your site are people able to understand what problems potential customers might be having, and how you can help solve them?

If not… then it’s time to do some content optimisation!

It may sound simple, but making sure you show your customers what you can do for them is one of the simplest ways to help your SEO.

Communicate the message

It’s important to communicate the various ways in which you can help your customers throughout your website. Within content, have ‘Calls To Action’, which ask them to do something – whether it is click through to more information, join a mailing list, or buy a product. Visual cues are key here, as many people scan a site rather than read it all.

Trying to sell a product? Keep referring back to possible situations where your product can help your potential customers. Keep communicating, in multiple ways, and to satisfy the end user.

Blocks of colour can help create visual punctuation so that potential customers can receive these Calls To Action easily!

Build Your Authority

There are two main benefits of posting regularly and often about your niche. Firstly, google loves consistency when it comes to content and SEO. Second, adding content that reinforces how you can help your customers shows that you are an authority on that subject.

It’s a pretty simple concept – once you’ve ensured that your user intent is fulfilled (ie: How can I help my potential customers?), you can fill your site with useful information that backs that up. Thus broadening your authority with search engines and making it easier to find you and your amazing product or service.
