Core Features

Earning Loyalty Points
- Customers (not guests) can earn points based on purchase activity.
- Rules/configurations determine how many points are earned per product or order.
- Earnings can exclude loyalty‐points‐derived amounts (i.e. don’t award points on amounts already paid via points).
- Earnings can also be tied to shipping or other conditions using extra rules.
Converting Between Currency & Points
- The module supports conversion formulas for turning loyalty points into currency (for spending) and vice versa.
- Only the “active” formula (most recent start time) for a given currency is used.
- Rounding behavior is configurable.
Spending / Applying Points
- Customers can use earned points in checkout (if a “payment method” driver for loyalty points is enabled).
- Spending rules dictate whether points may be applied, and under what conditions.
- Points & discounts/vouchers interoperation is configurable (e.g. whether points can be used in conjunction with vouchers or discounts).
Pending Points / Approval Workflow
- Points can be initially marked as “pending” and require approval before being usable by the customer.
- Settings allow automatic approval after a certain number of days from order dispatch.
- Admins can manually approve/cancel pending points via bulk actions or per-order actions.
Groups & Tiering (Loyalty Point Groups)
- Optionally, customers can be grouped (e.g. Bronze, Silver, Gold) based on total loyalty points earned.
- Group membership can affect rules or benefits.
- If enabled, customers automatically get moved between groups based on thresholds.
Administrative Controls & Permissions
- Fine-grained permission settings for approving, cancelling, editing loyalty points.
- Permissions for viewing, adding, editing, deleting rules, formulas, and point groups.
- Admin UI integration: ability to add/remove points from specific customers, view logs, see pending/earned status.
Logging & Monitoring
- All changes to loyalty point balances (adds, removals, approvals, cancellations) are logged.
- Reporting: view summary of each customer’s available / pending / earned points.
- Log system is part of the admin interface.
Customization of Display & Messaging
- You can personalize texts shown during checkout (title, info, labels, error messages) to show the bonus points involved.
