App privacy policy

eCommWeb Limited builds apps for clients and provides them free of charge, as they are. This page explains how those apps collect, use and disclose personal information. If you use one of them, you agree to the collection and use of information in line with this policy. The information we collect is used to provide and improve the app, and we will not use or share it with anyone except as described here.

Information collection and use

For a better experience while using an app, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, address, email address, location and pictures. Depending on the app, that information is either kept on your device and not collected by us, or retained by us and used as described in this policy. The apps may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you.

Log data

Whenever you use an app, in the event of an error we collect data and information, through third-party products, on your phone called log data. This may include your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when you used it, the time and date of your use, and other statistics.

Cookies are small files commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers, sent to your device and stored in its memory. The apps do not use cookies explicitly, but they may use third-party code and libraries that use cookies to collect information and improve their services. You can accept or refuse these cookies and be told when one is sent to your device; if you refuse them, some parts of an app may not work.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to:

• facilitate the app;
• provide the app on our behalf;
• perform app-related services; or
• help us analyse how the app is used.

These third parties have access to your personal information in order to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. They are obliged not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We value the trust you place in us by providing personal information, and we use commercially acceptable means to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, though, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

An app may contain links to other sites. If you follow one, you will be taken to a site that we do not operate, so we recommend reading its privacy policy. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of third-party sites or services.

Children’s privacy

The apps are not aimed at anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has given us personal information, we delete it from our servers straight away. If you are a parent or guardian and know that your child has given us personal information, please contact us so that we can act.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, so please review this page periodically. We will post any changes here, and they take effect as soon as they are posted.
