Aero Commerce

Changing platform is a big job.
Staying on the wrong one is bigger.

Retailers move to Aero from Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce and Visualsoft. We have the drivers to bring the data with them.

  • Products, customers and orders
  • URLs and rankings protected
  • Planned around your trading

Why people move

Three things that usually start the conversation

Nobody changes platform for fun. It is normally one of these, and it has normally been going on for a while.

It slows down when it is busy

The worst possible time for a shop to get sluggish is the moment more people than usual are trying to buy from it.

It runs on a stack of plugins

Every one is a licence, an update and something else that can break. DIY platforms often cannot grow without significant spend or technical knowledge.

Growth keeps costing more

More products and more traffic meaning a bigger bill every year is a platform problem, not a success problem.

Aero lets you expand the store without buying a pile of plugins, or carrying the development and infrastructure costs that come with legacy platforms.

How the move works

Five stages, no surprises

The shop you have now keeps trading the whole way through. Nothing switches until you say so.

  1. 01

We look at what you have

Catalogue size, integrations, payment and shipping, the tools your team uses every day, and anything the current shop does that we must not lose.

  2. 02

    We map the data across

Products, variants, categories, customers, orders and content. eCommWeb has access to drivers that pull data out of the major platforms and into Aero.

  3. 03

We build and you sign it off

The new shop is built and populated on a staging address so you can click around it, check the numbers and change your mind before anything goes live.

  4. 04

    We protect the search rankings

Old URLs are redirected to the new ones so the positions you have spent years earning do not evaporate on launch day.

  5. 05

We go live when it suits you

Not on a Friday afternoon, and not during your busiest fortnight. Then we stay close for the first few weeks.

What you can bring

Coming from Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce or Visualsoft?

Those are the moves we make most often, and there are drivers for all of them. If you are on something more unusual, tell us what it is — we have not been beaten by one yet, and we would rather say so up front than find out halfway through.
