A marketing funnel is the journey your customer takes from awareness to the sale (and hopefully on to loyal customer). One technique to help funnel customers to a new product or specific campaign is to have a specific landing page on your website just focussed on that one thing.

Why create landing pages for social campaigns

If you have a specific target you wish to push with your marketing, a mailing list you want to build or an ebook to sell, then having a specific landing page has huge advantages.

  • Firstly, it means that your intended audience is pointed straight towards the desired target. No clicking through, no navigation, just a simple path from interest to solution to sale.
  • You can target one product or one group of products for a specific campaign, and group these into one page; that perhaps wouldn't necessarily be grouped together organically.
  • Having a target for multiple social campaigns creates a clear avenue to conversion. You can grab attention via social, then convince your clients via a landing page, and then make it very simple for them to purchase off that page.

It's about awareness, following by direction and ease. Make that journey a positive and easy one for your potential customers

  • Keep it simple - Don't use funnel landing pages as a place to dump information. Use a landing page like a flyer you might've designed before the internet: What problem are you solving? How will your product or service help? What people should do next...
  • Make it beautiful - A marketing funnel landing page should be akin to p

Helping your campaigns convert

You don't just need a product or service that can help solve a customer problem, you need to make it easy to find that solution. Don't hide your call to action or sales tool hidden deep in your website. Make it easy to find and appealing by way of a special marketing funnel landing page.
